Marbella East comprises the areas of Rio Real, Los Monteros, El Rosario, Costabella, Elviria and Las Chapas, and Cabopino as its most eastern point.
This part of the coast enjoys the best sandy beaches on the Marbella coastline, and stands out for its pine tree and cork oak woods, which in some places reach right down to the very sand dunes.
Development in Marbella East has been controlled, with great care having been taken to avoid, as much as possible, high density residential areas and high rise buildings.
The area provides all the necessary services and amenities at a short distance from any particular point, including shopping centres with supermarkets, all kinds of shops, banks, bars and restaurants, not forgetting a great variety of “chiringuitos” all along this part of the coast.
